Mrs Servant is cross with me today.
It's because I bit her hand when she was asleep. Well, her hand was right next to me and I couldn't resist sinking my teeth into it.
I'm not quite sure why she made such a fuss. It was only the one bite. And it's not as if I bite her every day.

The new puppy
There's a new puppy that's just moved into our complex and, not surprisingly, Mrs Servant thinks he's wonderful. I don't. A puppy turns into a dog. And, even worse, he looks like a small wolf*.
So I kept my distance when he was by MY front door earlier today. But I have to say that the treats he was being fed did smell rather tasty, so I decided to brave it and edge forward. Slowly. The puppy's owner gave me one of the treats and it was delicious. Not quite sure why it was shaped like a bone, though.
*Note from Mrs Servant: the puppy is a husky.

I am not a set of handweights
Taking my medicine
I haven't been too well over the winter. In fact, I've been to that Horrible Vet too many times recently. I know exactly what's happening as soon as the nasty cage comes out of the cupboard. The last couple of times, I was trussed up in a towel to go there - but I still knew where I was going.
Mrs Servant thinks she can slip my medicine into my food without my realising. But I have my beady eye on her when she's preparing my meals. I can see exactly how she's doctoring my food. And she thinks I can't taste it!
On the plus side, I do get a rather tasty treat once a day, so that sort of makes up for it. I suppose. Anyhow, now I'm feeling better I don't see why I still need to take my medicine. Let's hope there are no more trips to That Place.

A long, cold winter
I've spent the winter months in semi hibernation. Too cold to go out and too nice and cosy in the flat. So the choice was easy. Snooze in the warmth all day long. Especially by the radiator in the hall or on the Servants' bed. Then, when it does get sunny, I decamp to the sitting room and bask in the sun's rays.
